Case history database

Introduction

This Module is designed to enable the user to search the case history database. The database has records of applications in most industry sectors (over 120 examples at 11/02) and provides specific examples of adhesive use. An overview of the joining process is described followed by the course of action taken and subsequent benefits derived. Where possible, pictures are provided to clarify each case.

More case histories will be added to the database throughout the project using material provided by material suppliers and end users.

The searching facility is designed to allow the user to search using up to five distinct criteria including adherend type, industry sector, application and adhesive type.

Select the options using the drop down lists from the categories below, that you want the program to search for. If the number of matches between a case study and selected categories meets or exceeds the number entered in the 'Categories to match' box then it will included in the results. The case histories will be displayed in order of the number of matches they have with the ones with the most matches at the top. If you select N/A then the program will ignore that category.
