Report 6. Failure Criteria for Adhesive Joints Summary Report

This report provides a summary of six other reports all directed at investigating failure criteria for adhesive joints. The six topics summarised are: stress over an area, as suggested by ALCAN; stress or strain values at a point with detailed analysis; stress or strain values at a point with simple analysis; criteria based solely on observed experimental phenomenon; criteria for creep loading; criteria for fatigue loading.
